The Basic Racing Package list below indicates all basic equipment and options (like color), along with the optional add-ons that will make your boat easier to sail, race, transport, and store.

FLYING SCOT® Basic Racing Package:

FLYING SCOT® in your choice of standard hull, deck, and trim colors. All standard equipment and accessories plus the following items in addition to, or in lieu of, standard equipment: 6:1 cunningham cleated on forward coaming, spinnaker rig (trims, halyard, topping lift line, blocks, snaps, brummel hooks, and guy clips), spinnaker pole with Forespar ends, spinnaker pole topping lift cleated on forward coaming, spinnaker halyard cam cleats, Harken spinnaker trim system with ratchet blocks, turning blocks, and cam cleats, 6:1 boom vang led aft to a console mounted on the centerboard cap, 360 swivel cleat for centerboard line, 6:1 outhaul, Ronstan X-10 universal tiller extension (40" fixed length), and Spar-Fly masthead wind indicator.

Standard Color Choices:

Hull & Deck (NPG ISO Gel coat): white or light gray - special order colors are at extra cost.

Waterline (Two-Part Paint): red, medium blue, dark blue, green, dark green, white, and black.

Cove Striping (Vinyl tape): red, medium blue, dark blue, green, dark green, white, and black.

SAILS - USA made jib, main, and spherical spinnaker. Main and jib windows are included and there is a shelf foot in the main.
The main sail insignia and numerals may be black, red, blue, or green. The spinnaker panels may be in your choice of the standard colors.

TRAILER - Our galvanized trailer is designed for the FLYING SCOT®. Standard galvanized wheels, galvanized axle, and special "easy-launch" features of neoprene rollers, and a walkway. A tie-down rig (boat strap and mast carriers) is provided.

Every boat includes payments to the FLYING SCOT® Sailing Association for certification of the hull and sails. These one time fees help support the FSSA. We encourage you to become a member of FSSA.
